I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus,

For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers,

I thank my God in all my remembrance of you,

We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love that you have for all the saints,

1 Corinthians 1:4; Ephesians 1:15–16; Philippians 1:3; Colossians 1:3–4;

Thank you

Hello Friends!

When the Apostle Paul wrote letters to churches, he would often begin giving thanks to God for the people in them. I am giving thanks to God for you for this reason.

This past Sunday, we had a family meeting. It meant you were at church about two-plus hours longer than a typical Sunday morning. I thought about that a lot. Many of us prayed for you the week before in light of it.

At this age and stage in life, your bodies and minds are familiar with routines. I think there is a lot of good in that. The hard part for all of us can be when our routine changes. Plus, because you are still growing, your body gets tired, a sign of good health, not weakness. Yet you did it! You stayed and played in the gym while some of us talked, and all listened and prayed about the church.

How am I to thank you for such kindness? I am at a complete loss. It was so kind of you to do what you did.

If you ever read the book of Nehemiah, you may remember that everyone had a part to play in God’s temple. (Nehemiah 10:34). This past Sunday was your part in helping Christ's church. But you do much more. I was in a group discussion during the family meeting, and a lady thanked God for the kids of West Cohasset Chapel and how kind (you) treated her child. She was so happy.

Thank you. God’s name was praised because of you, which is what you and I were made for—to live to the praise of His glorious grace. Well done.

With all my love in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Pastor Joe

P.S. a thank you for your enjoyment.
