Missions Statement
The sending out of qualified and called gospel proclaimers to see God convert people and establish local churches that are mature and can multiply.
Missions Team Ministry
Our focus is to follow the New Testament pattern of sending Gospel proclaimers across a boundary where the gospel is unknown to see God convert people and gather them together as His church.
In this, we have moved from supporting many people with a little bit of funding to supporting a smaller amount of people with a lot of funding.
The idea behind this transition was twofold.
First, the sending out of qualified and called gospel proclaimers to see God convert people and establish local churches that are mature and can multiply is at the heart of biblical missions.
Secondly, to strengthen the relationship between our church and our missionaries so that we might adequately care for them while on the field and that they might sharpen our desire to see unbelievers reach for Christ.
Practically, our future goal is to cover most or all of our missionaries’ financial needs so that they can focus their time and energy on their ministry rather than raising their own support.
When our missionaries are home, their care is our charge. When they are away, we stay connected to them regularly and highlight their activity through several avenues so the church can be well-informed of their progress and enter their work by praying for them.
To be preoccupied with raising more funding while they are at home is a burden, we do not want our missionaries to carry.
