My Prayer For You Today

Father, You have sent Your love and light to us though we do not deserve it. Please, for the sake of Your name, cause both to dwell in us and spill out of us richly.

Cause Your church to grow in depth and breadth by Your Spirit and according to Christ’s promise bearing fruit to eternal life.

Bring to nothing the counsel of Your enemies and frustrate their wicked designs. Create in us peaceable hearts that do not cherish hate and do not seek revenge but crave love for and peace with all people.

May we find all our strength in You the living God. For Jesus' sake—Amen.
