A Prayer For You Today
Pastor Joe | April 11, 2022 | A Prayer For You Today

April 11, 2022
But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ. Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death.
Father, because this gospel is true, this Easter season and beyond, may you be pleased to give us day and night rest in you.
May no folly and worry mark our lives, rather your love, rest, and peace. May we thirst for your glory. Thirst for our neighbor’s well-being and happiness, both spiritual and practical. May you please open our mouths to declare your praise.
Heavenly Father, I worship you as the creator and sustainer of the universe. Lord Jesus, I worship you, Savior, and Lord of the world. Holy Spirit, I worship you, sanctifier of the people of God.
Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Heavenly Father, I pray that I may live this day in your presence and please you more and more.
I pray this day we may take up my cross and follow you.
I pray this day you will fill us with your Spirit and cause your fruit to ripen in our life: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Holy, blessed, and glorious Trinity, three persons in one God, have mercy upon us. For Jesus’ sake. Amen

This Easter week may fresh discoveries of God’s love, power, provision, and peace be wonderfully granted to you and yours.
