A Prayer For You Today

A prayer for you today.

I was recently reminded through a conversation with a new friend that weakness is not a hindrance to the work of God but an opportunity for God to work in unexpectedly powerful ways.

The following prayer is to that end.

Hear me, Lord, and answer me,
    for I am poor and needy.
Guard my life, for I am faithful to you;
    save your servant who trusts in you.
You are my God;  have mercy on me, Lord,
    for I call to you all day long.
Bring joy to your servant, Lord,
    for I put my trust in you.

Turn to me and have mercy on me;
    show your strength on behalf of your servant.

            Psalm 86:1-4,16

You are so well loved. May God give us the grace to live and decide within this truth.
