A Prayer For You Today

Dear friends,
 
The final words of our Easter sermon were as follows:
 

If the resurrection of Christ did not happen, then nothing that Jesus says matters at all. But if it did happen, nothing in the world matters more than Him.

A prayer for you today.
 

Our Father, if there are any who are mourning and hanging their heads in sorrow, we ask you to lift up the light of your countenance upon them and bring them gladness.

Because Christ was risen from the dead may no soul be left in the gloom of the tomb. May all the saints rejoice in their risen Lord today, rising with Him, seated together with Him in the heavenly realms, and sharing in the fullness of His joy.

Amen.
