A Prayer For You Today

Dear friends,

Many things happened this past week, and many things are going to happen, Lord willing, in the coming week. Last week, this week, and every week, we need God’s strength, love, and wisdom to live well and walk humbly before others and before our all-sufficient God.

A prayer for you today.

God and Father, just as You helped those in ages past, please help us walk by faith and not by sight.

Do not let our flesh control us, nor our eyes deceive us.

Keep giving us a spirit of forbearance and self-control so we may live peacefully with one another and make wise, rather than reckless and selfish decisions.

Remove every thought of competition and comparison from our lives. We do not want to be attracted to or disorganized by the passing fantasies of this world. Therefore, please order our steps according to Your Word, through Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. For Jesus’ sake. Amen.

May God be gracious to us and bless us so His name will be known everywhere. May God give you a beautiful week.
