The Advent Season will soon be here. Many Scriptures will be read during public worship services, giving us the privilege to listen and learn from them.
A prayer for you today.
Father, you caused all Holy Scriptures to be written for our learning:
Grant us so to hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them,
That we may embrace and ever hold fast the blessed hope of everlasting
Life, which you have given us in our Savior Jesus Christ.
May the Lord protect you and defend you.
May He always shield you from shame.
May He strengthen you and preserve you from pain.
May He grant us His happiness, provision, and peace.
