A Prayer For You Today

Dear Friends,

Do you think, in our current social climate, there are two extremes? Many people are either very busy or very lonely. Holidays seem to reveal this reality quite clearly.

With Easter week beginning, if you need rest, then may God give it; if you need friends, may God send them with great speed.

A prayer for you today

God and Father, renew our restless minds so that we will find our rest in You.

Restore our weary soul, that we would place our hope in You.

Reorder the home of our heart that it might be better suited to the indwelling of Your Spirit and more open for the care of others.

Work in us Your grace, that we would be patient, more compassionate, more generous, more understanding, and more loving.

Breathe Your breath of life into us so that we can faithfully and purposely pour grace and beauty into the lives of those around us in the places You have assigned us. Amen.
