A Prayer For You Today

Dear Friends,

We are learning from Galatians that the way you enter the Christian faith is the same way you grow in it. From first to last, from beginning to end, the righteous person lives by faith.

A prayer for you today.

Victorious Christ,

Who was crucified

and with sweet spices laid

in the strong bands of the grave:

But You are alive, risen from the dead,

Come and go before us.

You do not need our memorial: Your wounded feet still move through the ways of this world, and Your scarred hands are still stretched out for the healing of the nations.

Wake us up, immortal Savior. Increase our Faith in You. Open our eyes to see that the stone has already been rolled away from the tomb.

Open our ears to hear the proclamation of Your angel. "He is not here; for He is risen, just as He said, for You alone cannot be held by the tomb.

Keep us in step with Your Holy Spirit, the breath of life, because our false gods are weak and dying, and there is no resurrection in them. Amen
