Dear friends,
We began Kids in the Kingdom this past Sunday.
How precious is each child to our God, and therefore to His Church.
A prayer for you today.
Father, carefully watch over each child, as their days increase;
Support and direct them wherever they may be.
Strengthen and comfort them when discouraged or sad;
When sick or afraid, heal them and give them great joy.
Enable them to be a joy to their parents, and a kind, patient, and good friend to others.
Remind each child of Your everlasting love, the forgiveness of sin, and enable them to build their lives on Christ—the crucified, risen, ascended, and returning King.
And in their hearts may the peace of Christ, which passes understanding, abide in them all the days of their life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
