A Prayer For You Today

Dear Child of God,

Jesus will never reject you. How could He? We are in union with Him. You were given to Him by the Father. This union is unbreakable and real.

A prayer for you today.

Lord Jesus Christ, You know how deeply rejection and shame cut into our sense of self.

Thank You for being sympathetic to our sadness and distress, for You also knew rejection—even betrayal.

Remind us in the end, no rejection awaits us in Christ, only a glad and unending welcome.

Keep helping us to know our worth is in Your love.

Our hope is secure in Your faithfulness.

Our joy rests in Your provision.

Free us, Lord Jesus Christ, to move more joyfully and to live, labor, love, create, dream, and serve fearlessly, to the praise of Your glory and the good of others.

For Jesus’ sake, we ask. Amen.
